I Tried The JBL E65BT NC By Harman Kardon

A few weeks ago, I received a package from Coolblue with the JBL E65BT NC by Harman Kardon headphones inside. An unboxing moment is always exciting, even though I already know what will be inside the box.

So what’s in the box? I got the JBL E65BT NC by Harman Kardon, one charging cable, a detachable audio cable with a remote, a warranty card, a warning card, a safety sheet, and QSG.

How do you commute to work? I bike to work, also in the winter. But when it is wet, I often choose the tram. My only joy when commuting is my Spotify playlist played on my smartphone. The busy chatters in the tram or cold, windy days on the bike are the spoiled.

Just right on time, Coolblue sent me the JBL E65BT NC by Harman to try and review. I have been using these wireless headphones for a week, so I think this is the right moment to share my opinion on them.

Pros

The first positive impression is the sleek all-black design and the soft leather cushion. The next best thing is the wireless connection through the Bluetooth connection. It is freedom from entangled cable. But if you missed your cable or entirely skipped charging the battery, the headphone cable with 3.55 m jack is delivered with it.

The JBL E65BT NC by Harman is engineered with active noise-cancelling technology, which instantly blocks out external noises. All you hear is the music, which matters to you. When it comes to the sound, it produces crystal clear and stereo audio. Using the built-in microphone, answering a phone call is as simple as pressing a button.

When you use the noise-cancelling, you are guaranteed approximately 15 hours of music listening, or it can last up to 24 hours when the noise-cancelling is turned off. In the wireless listening mode, long press the ANC button to switch it off and on. In the wired listening mode, power on the headphones and long press the ANC button to switch them on; power off the headphones to switch the ANC off.

The headphones are reasonably priced and affordable for this quality of wireless headphones.

Contras

If I am not wrong, I need to charge the headphones for at least two hours, I just hope it can be faster.

Despite my affection for the design, the headphones feel large. It could be because I am accustomed to using over-ear headphones.

I'm not sure why, but when the noise-cancelling feature of the JBL E65BT NC by Harman is turned on, it makes me a little bit dizzy, especially when the music is not on or played at a very low volume.

Verdict

I gave the sounds and usability 5 Stars. I totally love this JBL E65BT NC by Harman from here to the moon. After turning off the noise-cancelling, the headphones are the best buddy while commuting, and I do not mind a little bit surrounding sounds. Also, the fact that I am now free from the irritating, messed-up, and tangled cable is so liberating.

But there is one question left in my head. Is this JBL E65BT NC by Harman waterproof?
